Donations instead of gifts: vPOOL donates to the Amelie e.V. association
13 November 2023Wörnitz, 08.11.2023 - This year, vPOOL Logistics GmbH has decided to donate the budget of 2,500 euros to the traditional customer gifts at Christmas, the company decided to donate the budget of 2500 euros to the voluntary Amelie e.V. charitable organisation. True to the motto: donations instead of gifts!
The association is exceptionally committed to helping families with seriously ill children and uses donations to finance therapies and treatments that are not covered by service providers or health insurance companies. The children's heartfelt wishes can also be partially realised with these funds.
The chairwoman of the Amelie e.V. association, Karin Hainke, was overjoyed by this generous donation: "We are very grateful to vPOOL for their generous donation. With this money, we can help many families and make their everyday lives easier."
vPOOL Logistics GmbH is based in Wörnitz and specialises in the sustainable pooling of load carriers in the food industry. The symbolic handover of the donation took place in exchange for a self-painted children's picture and a red meat box filled with cuddly toys, which brought a smile to the face of association chairwoman Karin Hainke.
The donation was handed over on a small scale, while David Mayo, Managing Director of vPOOL, explained the company's decision in more detail: "This year, we deliberately decided to forego traditional customer gifts and instead make a contribution to a good cause." He went on to emphasise: "It is important to us that our donation has a direct impact where it is needed and supports the Amelie e.V. association, which does outstanding work."
With this generous donation, vPOOL Logistics GmbH is not only setting an example of social responsibility, but also proving that companies can have a lasting and positive impact in their communities through targeted social commitment.
